Beyond the Corporate Ladder
Beyond the Corporate Ladder explores how the definition of career success is shifting among Thai professionals. The research reveals that mental health and well-being have become more important than traditional upward career progression for many employees. The findings show that 59% of respondents value mental well-being over career advancement, reflecting a growing willingness to slow down, redefine success, and seek meaningful work rather than continuously climbing the corporate ladder. The study highlights that success today is increasingly defined by balance, purpose, and quality of life and calls on leaders and organizations to rethink how they design career paths, leadership expectations, and workplace cultures in response to this shift.
