Overview:
The Business Development Manager drives the expansion of Slingshot Group into new markets, enhancing market position and achieving financial growth. This role requires collaboration across departments and with senior management, engaging both internal and external networks to generate new business opportunities, close sales, and foster lasting client relationships.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within defined sectors by conducting market research, prospecting, and networking with external organizations.
- Develop persuasive sales approaches and customized pitches to attract prospective clients and effectively communicate Slingshot Group’s value proposition.
- Engage and build relationships with potential clients through presentations, consultations, and strategic discussions.
- Develop tailored proposals and commercial offers that address client needs, concerns, and business objectives.
- Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Manage sales and revenue growth across all product categories within assigned key account channels.
- Expand relationships with existing clients by continuously proposing innovative solutions that align with their evolving goals.
- Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and effectively to maintain trust and long-term partnership satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to align strategies, maximize opportunities, and ensure service excellence.
Education:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing, or a related field with a strong academic record.
Work Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in a corporate or business development-focused environment.
- Proven track record in securing new business through strategic pitches and relationship-building.
